Pre-marital counselling is very essential to the foundation of your marriage. It will not only give you insight into what you can expect in marriage and tools you can use but in some cases help prevent you from making the wrong decision altogether.
Do you know that according to the UK government, 42% of marriages end in divorce, while it costs the government £48 billion in providing support (i.e. housing, mental health support, legal aid) as a result of family breakdown? This shows that when a marriage breaks down, the impact does not end with the couple involved but it spreads into the society as tax payers money is used to provide any necessary support.
Our start well, finish strong premarital counselling is designed to help you understand God’s original purpose for marriage and the role each person plays within it. The purpose is to help you establish a strong foundation for your marriage to stand on and build a happy, healthy and Christ-centred marriage/home. We will equip you wth practical tools that you can implement in your day-to-day life such as dealing with conflicts, finances, sex & romance and many more.
This is an intensive and interactive 5 weeks virtual one-to-one counselling program, which is tailored to each couple’s needs. We will assess you and your partner individually and together as well as encourage you to be open about your expectations, life experiences and goals. Each session will be engaging, informative and fun-filled.
